The San Francisco Bath House, formally known as Indigo Bar and Venue, is Wellington's premiere live comedy and music venue.

Owners Tim Ward and Clinton Den Heyer re-branded the bar under one of its former names "The San Francisco Bath House" in an effort to give the venue new life while being able to use history as a resource to call upon in the re-fit and re-brand. We have been given a fair amount of grief about our name change - we are a bar, not a bath house - yet the name has stuck and been fondly shortened to San Fran, the Bathy and SFBH.
