Neil Thornton is a fierce and funny comedian who has performed all over the world: New York City comedy clubs, the Edinburgh Fringe, and once at a gay nudist resort. In New Zealand he's headlined at The Classic Comedy Club and performed in hamlets in the middle of nowhere South Island for confused sheep farmers. He appears occasionally on the "The Project" and was featured on the TV3 comedy special "After Hours.” His shows "Ursus Americanus,” "Bearly Kiwi,” “Hangry Americans” and “Cynics Guide to Enlightenment" were hits at the New Zealand Fringe and NZ International Comedy Festival. He’s also the founder of NZ Comedy School, giving new comics the skills and confidence to pursue the craft he loves so much.
