Ed Amon is a Pakistani immigrant and a card carrying kiwi. He has performed in New Zealand International Comedy Festival shows in 2019, 2021, and 2023.

He is a regular panellist on RNZ’s The Panel and is a columnist at his local paper, Local Matters.

Ed also hosts a comedy current affairs podcast called Baboon Yodel and a Bollywood Movie Review Podcast called International Gorrilay. He has two kittens named Kane and Rosco. Ed Amon is very funny, a fact that has been disputed by his mother.
