Clare may be new to comedy but this is not her first rodeo.

She spent 20 years trying to make it as an actor in Sydney before trading it all in for a quiet life in Christchurch with her Kiwi husband and two annoying children, who provide more than enough material to keep her going.

She has been documenting her foray into stand-up on her YouTube Channel @claremackeycreates
