Current Job Vacancies: 

Host/Duty Manager (Part-time)
A new opportunity has opened for the ultimate people-person seeking a role that focuses on customer relationships and team leadership. This Duty Manager role encompasses elements of hospitality and event management. You will be responsible for the nightly management of the comedy club, ensuring the smooth operation of the evening’s entertainment and bar business. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and a passion for leading from the front.

Skills and Experience
Working knowledge of hospitality regulations and general bar service 
Ability to coordinate and supervise events including live entertainment
Understand customer service and relationships
Leadership skills with previous experience in managing a team
Use initiative to troubleshoot problems calmly when under pressure
An appreciation for stand-up comedy (local & international)
Current General Managers Certificate
Fluent English spoken and written is required for this role.

As we are only open in the evenings, you must be available to work nights during the week and weekends. This job would suit someone who lives locally and has reliable transport.

Light & Sound Technician - none available (Casual/Part-time)
Start immediately.
Hours: Approx 10 / approx 2-3 nights including weekends / Casual
More hours available during the NZ International Comedy Festival
Duties include: announcements, music & light cues, basic lights & sound equipment maintenance. 
Practise your trade while enjoying hours of live stand up comedy.
