Many people are winding down as they turn 65. Retirement may be a possibility, relaxing and chilling might be the aim for many. Not me! Not Auntie Lianne!

At 60 I chose to try my first stand-up open mic. Five years later I’m in the running as a nominee for the Billy T James Award. Opportunities have presented themselves like gifts from the Gods and I have taken up every single one. Life just keeps getting better.

Comedy Awards sit alongside objects like my Free Bowel Screening Kit, my gym gear, and drumsticks (I’m learning to play the drums). I’ll be damned if age stops me trying new things and loving life to the max…. bring it on I say…bring it TF on!
